Important: This version fixes several major and minor bugs that might have caused your database to become corrupt in various ways. If you are upgrading from a previous version, I strongly recommend to perform the following steps:
1. Run this new version once, and immediately close the settings file. This will cause MacSOUP to write some additional database files that allows it to rebuild index files without losing information.
2. Reopen the settings file while holding down the command, shift, and option keys. This will rebuild the index files of all your newsgroups (you won╒t lose any data). For more information about rebuilding index files, see chapter 9.3 of the manual.
In this distribution there╒s no ╥Version History╙ document any longer. The manual now has a ╥What╒s New╙ chapter that lists the most important new features and enhancements; if you are interested in a detailed list of changes from one version to the next (including beta versions), see <http://www.inx.de/~stk/version_history.html>.
